Benefit
Banquet/April 16, 2004
On April 16th of this year, we tried something different from
our usual annual benefit concert. On this night we held a
benefit banquet; an evening of fine dining with continuous
sacred, jazz and classical music. I mus say, it was a wonderful
time for all of us.
Many of
God's people came together to donate their time, talents and
resources to see this night come together. Deborah and I praise
God for His favor in making that night a great success!
If you
did not make it to this event, it's not too late to play a
part in helping JohnRoss Ministries cover its budget for the
upcoming outreaches. They hold their own challenges and we
need the help of the Saints to fulfill the call of God. If
you can donate towards the ministry or support one of outreaches
in some way, feel free to forward your tax deductible donation
to us. No contribution is too small or too great when you
consider the awesome undertaking the Lord as placed before
us.

Passion
For Souls 2004
The evangelist conference which was held in Dallas, Texas
was great. It was refreshing getting to know new individuals
and re-establising old associations with other evangelists
from across the country. It was great just being around sooooooo
many people with a "passion for souls" just like
we have!
The breakout
sessions really added to the zeal that we have to see the
body of Christ carry out the 'Great Commission'. Some of the
name of the sessions were; Relevant & Reaching People,
Becoming an Evangelistic Church, Prophetic Evangelism, Adopt
- A - Block, Creative Ways For Outreach, Reaching Bikers and
ABC's Of Witnessing; just to name a few..
We hope
to bring others down with us for future conferences like this.
It will help build a fire in you that will never be put out!
Thank you to Scott Hinkle Outreach Ministries which was celebrating
25 years of hosting this event.
